ALL DAY: Art in Everything Installation! – An ongoing, interactive visual/sculpture art installation of recyclables, led by visual artist/actor Mirra Kardonne.

Launch! Drumming Performance & Workshop (12:00-12:45pm) – Kick-off the day with live drumming and an introduction by curator Kanika Ambrose. Then join in the Hand Drumming workshop led by drummer/dub-poet Registe Ambrose.

Stilts! (2:00-4:00pm)– A stilts workshop based on the traditions of Moko Jumbie: The dancing spirits of Trinidad! Robert Faulkner of SwizzleStick Theatre will teach ages 7 and up will how to stilt walk!

Bring Your Own Camera Workshop (4:00-5:00pm) – A photography scavenger hunt led by photojournalist Taiwo Bah.

Tread On It! Workshop (12:30-5:00pm) – Design and decorate a custom t-shirt using recycled car parts! Facilitated by sculptor/painter/car-part artist Jeff Mann.

Junior Art (12:30-2:00pm) – Rivkah Wisendorf will lead visual art activities for little fingers age 6 and under.

Origami (1:30-3:30pm) – Learn the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. Facilitated by Isabel Mazotta.

Telling Art Stories Workshop (1:00-2:00pm) – A visual art workshop intended for children ages 12 and under and their families. Led by visual artist/art therapist Anne Marie Bourgeios.

Courage to Create Workshop (4:00-5:00pm) – A visual art workshop intended for youth ages 13 and up. Led by visual artist/art therapist Anne Marie Bourgeios.

Dance Workshop (1:00-1:30pm) – Experience a contemporary dance performance and workshop led by contemporary dancer Jessie Garon.

Face Painting (12:30-2:30pm) – Exactly as it sounds! Have your face painted by carnivalist and theatrician, Christohper Pinhero.

Mask Making (2:30-4:30pm)– Learn the art of mask-making with actor/director/mask-maker Eric Double.

Improv Workshop (3:00-3:30pm) – Improv Your Acting! An improv workshop for kids led by actor/director/teacher Tony Babcock.

Shakespeare Workshop (2:00-2:30pm) – Exploring Shakespeare’s characters using archetypes, led by actor/teacher, Marcel Stewart.

Soundscape Workshop (4:15-4:45pm) – Use your voice and sound to explore your thoughts, desires and dreams. Led by musician/composer/soundscape artist Rehaset Yohanes.

16 Bars of Hip-Hop (3:30-4:30pm) – A visual presentation based on the four elements of hip-hop and live performance, led by hip-hop artist/youth animator JaeLegit.
